Mary Catherine Willey 80, of Dover, passed away on Saturday, August 5th, 2017 at Bayhealth Kent General, with loved ones at her side.
Mary was born on February 17th 1937 in Washington County, Virginia to Joseph Scott and Mary A (Meeks) Hartswick. In life Mary was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was the life of the party. Mary retired from Kraft Foods in September 1996. After retirement she enjoyed golfing with friends, working word search and jigsaw puzzles. Mary was a lifetime member of the Camden VFW, Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge and the American Legion.
Mary is survived by her children Raymond E Willey and his spouse Darlene of Bloxom, VA and Tammey S Merix and her spouse Jesse of Dover, DE. A brother Charles Scott and spouse Ruth of Camp Hill PA, a Sister in Law Barbara Scott of Meadowview, VA . Grandchildren Jessica Allen, Raymond Willey Jr, Brooke Willey, Carlee Merix, Caitlin Merix and Deanna Jacques (Jacquesson), Fifteen great grand children and one great great grand daughter
Along with her parents she was predeceased by a sister Darlene Hockett and brother Ralph Scott, step mother, Bertie Mae Scott and step father Frederick Hartswick.
A Celebration Life will be held Saturday August 12th at the Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge at 2:30 pm, 760 Moose Lodge Road, Wyoming, DE
