Margaret Rose Clingerman, of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018, in her home. She was 84.
Margaret was born April 20, 1934, in Leicester, England to the late Charles & Nora (Smith) Cufflin; where she was raised, and worked there as a Certified Nursing Assistant. It was also there that she met the father of her children, Roby Lee Campbell, who was serving in the United States Army. She became a military wife, traveling to various bases around the world; and ultimately making it to the U.S.A. in the early 1950’s.She then worked in a factory for many years, before returning to her first passion, being a C.N.A., and caring for the elderly , until she retired. She then spent a few years traveling with her husband and camping .
In her free time, Margaret enjoyed singing Karaoke, especially Tammy Wynette “Satin Sheets “, watching Nascar, and her favorite driver Tony Stewart. But her favorite pass time was spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by her former husband, Roby Lee Campbell; her son, Richard Campbell; and her brothers, Eric & Charles Cufflin.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 37 years, Raymond Clingerman; four sons, Robert Campbell, Ronald Campbell, Raymond Campbell & wife, Donna; and Michael Campbell, all of the Baltimore area; a daughter, Michelle Campbell-Haynie & husband, Butch, of Millsboro; a brother, Ronald Cufflin, in England; 2 stepdaughters Diane & Michelle , her sister-in-law, Linda Barker, of West Virginia; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews both here and in England.
