Message from A very close friend.
November 23, 2021 1:07 AM

It has taken me years to post this…. I was with him in his last days.. he showed me how to love when I didn’t know how to, how to be a good friend when I was unsure. He gave me some of the best memories I could ask for in just a few days. He was my guardian angle before he became one. Physically and mentally. Mickey we miss you. I wish things were different. I’m glad i met you, I’m glad you came into my life when you did. I send my biggest condolences to your family. I hope to seen you again.

To Gladys & Teresa, I do not have words to express my anguish as it is a great loss to you and all other members of your family. Your Grandson/Son was a very kind young man and was always helpful to others. He possessed great qualities of head and heart, and could always make you smile. His death is a great personal loss to our family as we loved him like our own son. I cannot believe that he is no longer with us and has left for his heavenly abode. I take comfort in believing that he is with his Grandfather, Sherman Catchings whom he loved & admired. Christmas was difficult as he nor his buddy Martino, our Grandson/Son were not able to be with us this year.
Have Faith & Believe, You have to bear this loss with patience and courage. We are just puppets in the hands of the Almighty. Be bold and look after each other and the rest of the family. Time will surely heal your wounds in due course. My sympathies are with you. Our Prayers are continually going up for all of you!
May God rest his soul in peace!
Yours sincerely

You absolutely were loved and cared about while you were here, and that your service to our country and your imprint you left on friends will never be forgotten. Rest in peace and wherever you are, may you be held in the highest regard, for you have deserved nothing less. Troy Turner & Family

My thoughts are with you and the family and how death robs us of our loved ones. Jehovah God has promised to remove death, sickness, and pain from the earth and reunite us with our loved one on a cleansed earth in the future. (Revelation 21:4; John 5:28,29; John 17:3; Psalms 83:18)
In the meantime you can be sure that God understands how you feel now! The Bible assures us:
"He is healing the brokenhearted ones, And is binding up there painful spots." Psalms 147:3

When things were tough - he was always respectful. That smile was contagious. As a staff member of Positive Outcomes, I was touched over and over again by Martell's enthusiasm and willingness to face his struggles head on. He will be missed.
