Karen Theresa Brown, of Dover, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 75.
Karen was born June 25, 1942, in Holyoke, MA. to the Late, Horace & Anne(Minutello) Lequin.
She had worked many jobs over the years, most recently at Legislative Hall where she enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the Delaware General Assembly. Karen enjoyed shopping and lunching with her best friend Mary Lou Hurd; and helping the Ladies of the Harrington Moose. She was a friend of Bill W’s for over 30 years; and was very instrumental in helping many women in the community get their lives in order. For this she was most Thankful.
Karen is survived by her 2 children, Lori A. Caloway, of Magnolia; and Jason E. Brown & wife, Krista, of Camden; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Caloway, of Fort Sill, Kentucky; Sierra, Olivia, & Jackson, all of Camden.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12 noon, Thursday, May 3, 2018, in the Church of the Holy Cross, 631 South State St., Dover. Entombment of her ashes will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 South Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
