Justin Andrew Ames, Sr.

Justin Andrew Ames Sr., 28, of Dover Delaware, went home into the arms of the Lord on March 6, 2018. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family.

Born on September 2, 1989, Justin was the beloved son of Lori Ames. He grew up in Dover, Delaware. He was a lover of baseball and was a proud Capital School District Senator. He loved R&B music, the New York Yankees, and he took particular pride in his hats and shoes. Justin was passionate about cooking and feeding those he cared about. Because of this, he found pleasure in his work at Glasgow Deli in Dover. Justin will be remembered for his selflessness, kind heart, and generous nature.

Justin loved his family more than anything else in this world. Justin is leaving behind his loving son, Justin Ames Jr., his caring mother, Lori Ames of Glen Burnie, Md., his devoted grandmother, Maria Ames of Dover, De., and by his brother, Anthony Ames of Glen Burnie, Md. Justin is also survived by two uncles, an aunt, seven cousins, and their families.

The family would like to thank the staff in the Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit of Kent General Hospital in Dover, DE for their compassionate care.

Services were held on March 10, 2018, at Pippin Funeral Home in Wyoming DE.
