My aunt's passing was truly a loss to those who knew and loved her. It has been four years since her death and rarely does a day pass when I don't think of her. She was vibrant, imaginative, protective and caring. Judy wove a life tapestry of mixed whimsey and sensibility. I am gifted with so many happy memories of her including tea time or walks around the farm. In either place, much important conversation and life lessons occurred. Aunt Judy told colorful oral stories to appeal to children, as well as created novels published books for adults. She was my aunt, confidante and mentor. She was a gift in my life and is sorely missed. In every pot of home made soup simmering on the stove , tea leaves, bright new moon, her memory is joyfully recalled. Enjoy your new adventures, Aunt Judy. Keep an eye out for all of us! I've passed on your oral stories and folksong to my children. Love you! Jen xoxo

I loved talking with Judith via email. She always had beautiful insights on the cover projects we we worked together. But what I loved the most was how deeply rooted she was in her family, both past and present, and how she used that foundation to remind me to take joy in my own. Thank you Judith. See you in Heaven, my friend.

I had the honor of meeting Judith when I managed a book store in Dover, DE. Not only did she come to my store to sign her books on the shelf, she and her daughter Colleen would sit up a table and chairs and sit in the front of my store and sign books and chat with their many fans. Judith was a gifted author and a wonderful, kind, caring soul. My heartfelt condolences, thoughts and Prayers go out to her family and friends. RIP my friend, Thank you for your kindness and the light you brought to every room you entered.

I am sorry for your loss. I met Judy at an Author's Meeting for those wanting to write a book. She was very helpful and supportive. I had a draft copy my deceased sister had asked me to get published. This event took place at Camden Friends Meeting.
