Josephine Burton Obituary

Josephine Angelica Burton, of Harrington, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 26, 2018, in her home.  She was 86.

 Josephine was born June 3, 1932, in New York City, to the late, Arthur & Eunice (Arrington) Madison. She was a licensed real estate agent for over 30 years, selling many homes in Yonkers, New York, and surrounding areas. Josephine enjoyed going to church, the Harrington Senior Center, playing bingo, and collecting & selling antiques.

      In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Alexander Burton, who passed in August 2018.

      Josephine is survived by her husband of 67 years, Charles Burton; her grandchildren, Shawn, Nicole, & Mohammed; and several great-grandchildren.

      Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 3, 2019, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may view 1 hour before. Burial will take place at 11am, Friday, January 4, 2019, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE. Condolences may be sent via:www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
