Jerry R. “Speedy” Friudenberg, 57, of Dover passed away on January 7, 2019 at the Christiana Hospital.
Speedy enjoyed fishing and just being on the water. He was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins and was a fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. Speedy enjoyed hanging out with his friends at Mr. D’s Bar and Restaurant in Magnolia and at Brown’s Tavern in Wyoming.
Mr. Friudenberg is survived by his daughter, Leslee D. Carroll and her husband Scott of Camden; his father, William Friudenberg and his wife Ruth of San Bernardino, CA; his longtime companion Linda Thompson of Dover; his sister Debbie Lewis and her husband Chuck of Lincoln, Nebraska; his brother, Keith Friudenberg of Borrego Spring, CA; and seven grandchildren: Anthony, Austyn, Scotty, Ava, Lexie, Lyla and Jordyn. Speedy was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia English.
A Celebration of Life will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where friends may visit with the family from 2:30 until 3:00 P.M. Saturday. Burial will be private.
