Jennifer Kathleen Wilde, of Smyrna, DE, passed away peacefully, Thursday, May 10, 2018, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 27.
Jennifer was born, October 11, 1990 in Fort Walton Beach, FL, where she was raised and attended school. She graduated parochial school from Saint Mary Catholic School, in Fort Walton Beach in 2005, and was a member of the Fort Walton Beach High School Graduating Class of 2009. She furthered her education at the University of Notre Dame, where she received her B.S. Degree as a member of the Graduating Class of 2013. She was employed by Capital One in Wilmington, DE.
In her free time Jennifer enjoyed watching movies, working out, running, playing softball & volleyball, cross stitching, going to the beach, and watching Notre Dame sports. She also loved and enjoyed the company of her cats.
She was a member of the 9thAirlift Squadron Spouse Group at Dover Air Force Base and the Cancer Support Community of Delaware. She was also a Minister of Holy Communion at the Church of the Holy Cross in Dover.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Eric T. Wilde II; her parents, Frank & Kathleen Piccione, of Fort Walton Beach, FL; two sisters, Angela Severe & her husband, Mark, of Orlando, FL and Stephanie Elliott & her husband, Karl, of Waldorf, MD; her parents-in-law Eric & Yvette Wilde, her sister-in-law Bernadette Wilde, and her brother-in-law Brian Wilde of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; and her aunts and uncles Tom & Kim Risalvato and Lyn & Cliff Goble of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Patty & David Wyatt of Kalispell, MT, Suzy & Jim Averill of Charlotte, NC and Tony Piccione of Fort Walton Beach, FL; along with numerous cousins. She was predeceased by her uncle Rick Risalvato.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Jamal Misleh, his nurse, Michele Glick, and their entire staff for their help and support.
Viewing will be held from 6 to 8 PM, Thursday, May 17, 2018, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12 noon, Friday, May 18, 2018, in the Church of the Holy Cross, 631 South State St., Dover, DE. Entombment will take place at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Notre Dame, IN at 12:30 PM, Thursday, May 24, 2018 followed by a Celebration of Life reception on campus.
