Jeanette April McIntyre, of Dover, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, November 30, 2017, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 58.
April was born September 22, 1959, in Green Cove Springs, Florida, to Lloyd H. Jenkins, and the late, Mary(Hill) Jenkins.
In her younger years, she sang with the All State Choir in Europe, going to Holland & Austria; and as an adult , April enjoyed direct sales, being a Mary Kay Director for many years. She also worked as an underwriter with American General, and sold real estate for Kellar Williams. She had served as the Minister of Music at First Pilgrim Baptist Church, Camden.
April is survived by her husband of 34 years, Hiawatha V. “Tino” McIntyre, Jr.; a daughter, Regis V.E. McIntyre, of Lutz, Florida; a son, Hiawatha V. McIntyre, III, of Sumter, S.C.; her father, Lloyd H.Jenkins, of Dover; a brother, Robert Brown, of Jacksonville, FL.; 4 sisters, Beatrice H. King, of Dover; Evelyn Williams, of Tampa, FL.; Allison V. Hopkins, of Dover and Marguerite A. Isaac, of Lutz, FL. ; and 2 grandsons, Benjamin C. McIntyre, of Lutz, FL. and Christian V. McIntyre, of Rock Hill, S.C.
Viewing will take place from 7-9 pm, on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, and from 11am-12 noon, Thursday, December 7, 2017, in Pippin Funeral Home,Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
