Henry P. Evans, Jr. 70, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Kent General Hospital, Dover.
He was born on July 4, 1947 in Wilmington, Delaware son of the late Ocie and Henry P. Evans, Sr.
Henry worked as a truck driver for over 30 years.
He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends of telling old stories and jokes.
Henry is survived by his son David W. Evans of Felton, two brothers, James H. Evans of Clearwater, FL and Virgle Evans of Elkton, MD; two sisters Bertha Welch of Lewes, and Laura A. Blankenship of Felton; a friend of 35 years Calvin Crouch and many nieces, nephews and an extended family of friends.
A memorial service will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, November 18 at the home of Lois Knolls, 6907 Hopkins Cemetery Road, Felton, DE.
