Helen W Nishenko

Helen W. Nishenko, of Dover, passed away in her home, Friday, March 30, 2018. She was 94.

    Helen was born August 3, 1923, in Fairchance, Pennsylvania, and had lived in the New Kensington area for many years. She was a devout catholic, and an avid member of the church. In her free time she enjoyed traveling and dancing.

   She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael & Anna(Sczerbata) Wierney; her brother, Joseph Wierney; her sister, Sophia Wierney; and two nephews, Michael & Thomas Wierney.

   Helen is survived by her great-nephew, Jeremy Wierney & wife, Kelly; with whom she resided; great-niece, Heather Parkins, of Westminster, MD; and great-great-nieces & nephews, Joseph & Samantha Wierney, Felicia Marsh, Lorianna & Jessica Parkins, and Ryan Burns.

    Graveside Services will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, April 5, 2018, in Union Cemetery, Arnold, PA.   Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
