Gertrude Danielle Jobes, of Magnolia, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, July 2, 2019, in Kent General Hospital, after a long illness. She was 30.
She was a student at the John S. Charlton School, in the Caesar Rodney School District. In her free time , she liked to play games on her tablet & phone, and spend time with her mother.
Gertrude was preceded in death by her brother, William Woodlin.
She leaves to mourn her 2 children, whom she loved but was unable to care for due to her illness, Raven & Constantine Jobes; her mother, Charlene Scott, with whom she resided; her father, Theodore Eugene, of Camden; her brother, Arnold Woodlin, of Wilmington; 2 sisters, Antoinette Woodlin and Arnita Custis & husband, Tracey, both of Magnolia; grandparents, Charlie & Mildred Spence, of Magnolia, DE; nephew, Tommy Woodlin, of Magnolia; nieces, De’Asia Woodlin, Amaya Woodlin, Takema Custis, and Zoey Custis, all of Magnolia; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held 11am, Saturday, July 13, 2019, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE ; where family and friends may gather 1 hour before. Burial will follow in Whatcoat Cemetery, Dover. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
