I regret that prior commitments prevent me from attending the celebration of Win's life. What an amazing life he had. We at the Southern Academy of Lifelong Learning in Lewes with Win's gift for teaching. Whether his course was about Ben Franklin or Charlemagne or resistance to Hitler in Germany or the German language he was always well prepared and interesting. He did everything with a twinkle in his eyes and loved the amusing,dramatic touch such as showing up for clas dressed as Ben Franklin. It was my privilege to have befriended Dr. Mroz a few years ago at the Dover YMCA. We enjoyed many challenging conversations during those years, and I learned much from his vast knowledge of history, language, and music.
