I am very sorry to hear of De'quan's passing at such a young age. I'd like to share the comfort of knowing he rests peacefully, as if sleeping, in death (John 11:11-14, Luke 8:52,53). God and Jesus want to and will soon perform a resurrection of all those asleep in death (John 5:28-30). We are made in God's image; the fact that we suffer this grief is proof they feel your loss and are prepared to comfort you through God's word and soon, the resurrection. It is my hope you find peace and comfort in these difficult times.

So very sorry to read of the untimely passing of your loved one Dequan. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Death is described in God's Word the Bible as an "enemy." (1Corinthians 15:26) An enemy that none of us as humans can defeat. Lovingly Our Heavenly Father can and will eliminate this enemy for us once and for all as foretold at Revelation 21:3,4. He will accomplish this by means of his Kingdom in which we pray for in the Lord's Prayer. Once more I am so sorry for your loss.

During times like this we need the kind of strength that only God can provide. He can heal our broken heart and give us peace. (Psalm 147:3) He promises that soon death will be no more and he will permanently wipe tears of sadness from all faces. (Isaiah 25:8) In addition, the pressures, senseless acts and challenges that make life difficult will also be done away with and we can enjoy a tranquil new world.
