Deborah Denise Simms

    Deborah Denise Simms, of Clayton, DE, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 6, 2018, in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She was 59.

     Debbie was born July 10, 1958, in Dover to the late, William & Eleanor(Heath) Simms. She had worked a variety of jobs throughout her life, and in her free time enjoyed fishing, crabbing, going out on the boat with friends, and going to Bingo and the casino. She was a person with a big heart, always willing to lend a helping hand to others.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Jefferson & Geraldine Morris.

    Deborah is survived by her 2 children, Allen & Tamara Simms, with whom she resided; a brother, Edward Simms, of Townsend, a sister, Linda Jones of Sacramento, CA.;  her grandchildren, Destiny, Nia, and Allen Simms, Jr.; and a host of nieces & nephews.
