Carl “Rudy” List, 58, of Hartly passed away at Kent General Hospital on November 25, 2017.
Rudy was born April 17, 1959 to Carl Rudolph List and Elizabeth (Betty) Sapp List. He graduated from Caesar Rodney High School. Rudy enlisted in the U.S. Army and served proudly at Ft. Leonard in Wood, MO. Rudy was employed for many years by Magnolia Furniture and also Wilsons Auction. He was a gentle giant who was a friend to everyone and had a sweet dependable personality.
Rudy is survived by his sister, Pamela List of Wilmington, DE; his aunt Martha Sapp Brereton (Bill); his half brother Wayne Hynd; his cousin Carlene Smith and two special friends Pamela Kepfer of Dover and Peter West of Denver, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, his aunt Marjorie Sapp Martin and several cousins.
A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where there will be a gathering from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
