Brendon Harden Obituary

Brendon “Bren” Marke’ Harden, or as his father called him Pop Pop, departed this life Sunday, September 1, 2019 at the age of 19. Brendon was born August 11, 2000 in Milford, Delaware.

Brendon was a 2018 graduate of Caeser Rodney High School.   He graduated a year early and often talked about joining the military. He worked for Chics in Harrington.

He was a very smart, well-mannered child and was very curious.   He was fascinated with cars, motorcycles, almost any electronics and he loved to “fix-on” things even if they weren’t broke. He would put together things without even reading directions even as a young child. Bren was a good boy. He loved his siblings.  Although he was not the oldest he acted as though he was. Bren loved children and always spoke about being a father.   As a young boy he talked about how he was going to have a lot of children. Last year his wish came true. He became the father of a beautiful baby girl, Jae’Lani “Laah Laah.” She brought him so much joy. He loved his baby girl and she loved her daddy. He would take her everywhere with him. He was the best daddy and was always telling her he loved her. Bren loved to drive.  He would drive all night to get to North Carolina to see his mother, brother and grandparents. Bren and his father were best friends.  They were unseparatable, more like brothers.  I don’t care what they went through it never lasted long. They had to be with each other no matter what. They fixed and washed cars together, road bikes and four wheelers, and would joke and laugh all the time. It was rare that “Them Harden Boys” were not together.  They held each other down.  Brendon, his smile and laugh will be missed by everyone.

Brendon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Curry Sr. and Aunt’s Amber Frazier and Nakisha Watson.

He leaves to cherish loving memories of his daughter, Jae’Lani “Laah Laah” Coleman; his parents, Keondra Curry-Adekoya of Gastonia, NC and Jerry Harden of Dover De; 9 brothers, Juwan Jackson of Harrington DE, Emory Bratcher of Camden DE, Jerry Harden of Atlanta GA, Kameron Harden of Gastonia NC, Tavion Chandler of Dover De, Tay and Tre Guy of Magnolia De, Larry Benson of Magnolia De, and Tavarious Harden; three sisters, Shakia Drummond of Dover, De, Hannah Carney of Dover De; three nieces, Ambriell Collins of Dover De, Raelyn and Trinity Bratcher of North Carolina; his maternal grandparents, Valerie Curry of Gastonia NC and Robert McMillion of Gastonia NC; paternal grandparents, Brenda Harden of Lincoln DE and Jerry(Bonnie) Harden Richmond VA; 10 uncles, Gary Curry of Milton De, Jeremy and Javon of Richmond VA, Robert McMillion II of Gastonia NC, Antwine Duffy of Winston-Salem NC, Marvin Bailey of Georgia and Abdula Drummond of Georgetown De, Travis Hallowman of Bronx NY and Nicholas (Erica) Walcott of Florida and 4 Aunt’s, G Missy Greene of Greenwood De, Jenieco McMillion of Milford De, Ivy (Albert) Harris of Smyrna De, Tiffany Harden of Milford De;  Godparents, Cathy Doyle of Lincoln De and John Mosley of Greenwood De and host of great aunts, uncles and cousins.
