Beverly Ann Hughes of Harrington, DE was received by her Lord and Savior on November 19, 2017 at home after su ering with a prolonged illness.

Beverly was born March 23, 1956 in Milford, Delaware to Charles L. Parker, Jr. and Della M. Parker. She was educated in the Milford School District, graduating with the class of 1974.

James Hughes and Beverly were married and then from this marriage were two sons, Damon Hughes on June 10 and Devon Hughes on June 16. e boys were her life. She worked at Ames Department Store for over three years. After leaving Ames, she worked for L.D. Caulk Deal Supplies for 39 years as a Lab Technician.
Bev was a dedicated member of Bethel A.M.E. Church for many years. As of now she was under the leadership of Pastor Jean Wylie. She was a faithful usher, member, and treasurer of the choir. For a short term she was on the Finance Committee for the church and also a class leader. Bev was a big sports fan (Basketball and Football), she also loved the ocean.
When it was hard for Beverly to work, she vacationed at home relaxing in her gazebo. She loved to travel and have a good time. Always being that sassy Bev. She was always willing to help someone out or give her opinion to whatever.

Beverly was preceded in death by her father Charles L. Parker, Jr in 1998. She leaves behind to cherish her memories two sons, Damon and Devon of Harrington, mother Della Parker Sharp of Milford DE, two sisters Doris Justice (Arthur) of Fel- ton, DE and Felicia Morris (Clarence) of Milford, DE, six brothers, Leonardo Parker (Lisa) of York, PA, Robert Parker (Sylvia) of Dover, DE, Oliver Parker (Arnella) of Owings Mills, MD, Charles Parker III (Felicia) of New Castle, DE, William Parker of Greensboro, NC and David Parker of Dover, DE, Life-long friend (Larry Potts), (Her Love) grandchildren, Donique, Damir, DaVon, Dayana, Dazhir, Damar, Amyah, Jailah, Dominic and DJ (Dayja).

Her close friends (called “ The Divas”) and the biker friends were her best buddies. Cousins and friends all loved her dearly.
