Ann MacKinnis

  Ann MacKinnis, of Seaford, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019, in her home. She was 82.

   Ann was born September 3, 1936 in Hartford, Connecticut to the late, George & Margaret(Stewart) Phelps. She was a summa cum laude graduate of St. Elizabeth’s College, Covenant Station, N.J., with a GPA of 3.98. Ann then began a career as an Administrator in Planning & Zoning for the Town of Morristown, New Jersey, spanning a course of almost 40 years, before retiring. Ann was the President of the New Jersey Association of Planning & Zoning Administrators from 1996-1999. In her free time she enjoyed sailing, and playing with her dogs.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Phelps.

    Ann is survived by her 2 Sons, Robert P. MacKinnis, of Salisbury, MD and John “Mac” MacKinnis, of Seaford; and her grandson, John P. MacKinnis, of Seaford.
