Andrew Ray Brown

   Andrew Ray " Drew" Brown, of Dover, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, July 12, 2018.   He was 56 years old.  Andrew was born on September 24, 1961 in Milford, Delaware to the late Mattie Lee (Weathersby) Brown  and Clifford Payne Sr.

     Andrew was educated through the Milford Educational System.    He was joined in holy matrimony to Sarah Snipes in 1993.

     Andrew enjoyed spending time with his family, coaching his children’s basketball team, and watching his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys on TV.  He worked as a cook until he was forced into early retirement due to his illness.

     Andrew is proceeded in death by his parents, Mattie (Weathersby) Brown and Clifford Payne Sr., one brother,  Clifford Payne Jr.

    The memories of his life will be cherished by those who loved and knew him the best:  his wife, Sarah Brown of Dover, Delaware, his sons, Jeremial Brummell (Laconya) of Felton, Delaware, Andrew Weatherly of Georgetown, Delaware, one brother, Frederick Serrano of Milton, Delaware, one sister, Cynthia Weathersby of Dover, Delaware, three aunts; Teressa Murphy of Newark, Delaware, Henrietta Savage of Lincoln, Delaware and Minnie Beulah of Michigan, three uncles; David and Vernon Weathersby of Milton, Delaware and James Weathersby, three nieces; Nekoda King of New York, Mattie, and Jennifer Weathersby of Dover, Delaware, four children that he actively help raise; Deandre Snipes, Antonio Snipes.

    Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, July 21, 2018, in Jesus Love Temple, 106 South Walnut St. Milford, DE ; where family and friends may gather 30 minutes before. Burial will follow in Milford Community Cemetery. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
