Maureen/Bruce,
I am deeply sorry to hear of Andrea's sudden passing. I was the Program Manager at Ken Crest when Andrea first came to Walker Road. My heart is sadden but know she is in a better place. I know when she got to heaven your parents met her and welcomed her in. We often talked about the Lord in her room and share stories about different topics. She gave me a couple of small book of paperback poems. I saw Andrea a week before she passed. She still had that bubbly laugh, a beautiful smile, and would speak her mind when she need to. I retired on 8/31/15 but kept in touch with her and the other residents. I met you Maureen a few times at Walker Rd when you would stop in to see her or bring gifts. Please accept my sympathy. This is a hard one for me as I wad attached to her.

It has been such a pleasure to know and to service Andrea. She was such a spunky, determined lady. She resided independently for years with the loving support of her family and others who knew her well. Whenever Andrea and I would have a conversation if I said something funny, she would say "Shirlene" and then she would laugh. Andrea will be greatly missed, she had a very sweet presence!

Andrea was an awesome person, I got to know her when I got the pleasure of providing transportation to and from KSI and on community trips. I enjoyed talking with her and she tried to teach me how to make hats. Andrea will be missed a lot.
