Andrea Emily Mason, 50, of Dover, passed away April 27, 2017. The daughter of Diane J. Mason and Richard Nelson, Andrea was predeceased by her brother Christopher Nelson, and her beloved grandparents Rachel & Palmer Chappelle, long time residents of Dover, with whom she lived for many years.
Andrea is survived by her mother, Diane Mason, of Dover; her aunt, Maureen Wootten, of Dover; her uncle Bruce Chappelle, of Rehoboth Beach; a great-aunt,
Emily Rosado, of Dover; as well as many cousins, her Ken Crest caregivers, Easter Seals and K.S.I. Staff, and fellow clients. She had worked for several years at K.S.I.
She will be remembered for her spunk, and strength in dealing with a lifetime of challenges due to her spina bifida.
A Memorial Service will take place 11 am, Friday, May 12, 2017, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may gather from 10:30-11am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to the Ken Crest Staff, 1180 Walker Road, Dover, DE. 19904.
