Alice ( Hillman) Earley, of Magnolia, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018, in Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 85.
Alice was born September 9, 1932, in Salem, New Jersey, to the late, William & Virginia Hillman. She was the Owner of Earley Bus Service, for over 30 years, before retiring. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing, boating, and playing bridge; but her favorite thing to do was spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Earley, in 2014.
Alice is survived by 4 children, Susan Galbreath & husband, Ronald; William F. Earley, Jr., & wife, Deborah; Diane Earley; and Terry Doyle, all of Magnolia; 2 sisters, Rae Hillman, of Pennsville, N.J. , and Ruth Hyatt, of Florida; 6 grandchildren, Aaron W. Brown & wife, Katie, of West Chester; Amanda Fretz; Jennifer Matticks & husband, Joshua; Melissa Earley; Reese Earley; and Cameron Galbreath, all of Magnolia; 3 great-grandchildren, Cadence Fretz, Jordyn Matticks, and Ryleigh Earley; her sister-in-law, Ruth Potter & husband, Stan, of Magnolia; her niece, Sandy Murray & husband, Mike; and several extended family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7 pm, Monday, August 27, 2018, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE; where family and friends may gather from 6 to 7 pm. Burial will be held privately. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
