Wayne Francis Oliff

Wayne Francis Oliff of Ocean View, Delaware, passed away unexpectedly on November 27, 2017.  Wayne grew up in Riverdale, Maryland, where he graduated from Parkdale High School in 1973.  He was a roofer for most of his career, both in Maryland and Delaware.  His last few years were spent as a store clerk at Giant and Hockers’ Deli.

Wayne was an active member of the Ocean View Fraternal Order of Eagles and was always available to help others.  He will be greatly missed. 

Wayne is survived by his brother Hal (Lois) and sister Donna Marx; four nephews Joe Marx, Jr., Jason Marx, Jesse Oliff, and Kevin Oliff; one niece, Amy Oliff; and seven great nephews and nieces.  He is also survived by his family of friends at the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Hockers' Deli.  Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Doris, and his brothers Paul and Joe Marx, Sr. 

A service will be held at Noon, February 3, 2018, at Ephesus Christian Church, 364 Horners Mill Road, Montross, VA  22520.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to the Church or the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
