Virginia Lee Hashagen

Virginia Lee Hashagen, 87, of Dover, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 28, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.  Virginia was born on November 9, 1928, in Anderson, South Carolina to the late Alice and Edwin Adams. 

At the age of 19, Virginia married her husband Arthur, and they were blessed with 67 years together.  She was a loving wife, and a devoted Mother to her four children.  She was outgoing and friendly, which served her well as a restaurant hostess until becoming a Reservationist for Eastern Airlines, where she stayed until retirement. A true “Southern Belle,” she loved being surrounded by her family and dear friends.  She was a great cook, and enjoyed baking and sewing; but was happiest with her husband by her side, traveling and taking every opportunity possible to experience life.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Arthur; children, Leigh Miller (Paul), Carl Hashagen (Heidi), Jill Woschenko, and Ethan Hashagen (Barbara); grandchildren, Justin Clark (Frank Weston), Evan Clark (Alyssa), Hannah Clark (Aaron Hafitz), Seth Miller, Jesse Hashagen (Elizabeth), Carlee Dietterick (Jason), and Dylan Woschenko; great grandchildren, Logan, Luke, Margaret, and Evelyn.  She also leaves behind her Chihuahua “Dolce.”

A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at United Presbyterian Church, 12 Yardville-Hamilton Square Road, Yardville, NJ. 08620.
