Suzanne G Kirch

     Suzanne G. Kirch, 75, of Frederica passed away suddenly on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Kent General Hospital in Dover and went home to be with the Lord.

     Suzanne started her career in nursing as an LPN at Kent General Hospital and later accepted a position as a dialysis nurse with Fresenius Medical Care in Dover, DE.  After more than 30 years in nursing, Suzanne retired in 1999 in order to spend more time with family, although keeping her nursing license active for many additional years.

     Sue was loved by her patients, her friends and family for her kindness, thoughtfulness, unselfishness and strength.  She had a calming influence on all as well as a strong work ethic.  Nothing was ever too much trouble for her to do.

     Suzanne is survived by her husband Peter; three sons: Percy Lee Cannon of New Castle, DE, Wayne Cannon of Warrington, GA and Mark Cannon of Phoenix, AZ; her step son William Hosmer of Rome, GA; her sister, Cynthia Ashenfarb of Charlotte, NC; her grandson Myles Grotz of Mesa, AZ, her nephew Steven Ashenfarb of Charlotte, NC; her niece Adriemme Bartlett of Estro, FL, and her step daughter April Johnson of Jacksonville, FL.  She was preceded in death by her step daughter Wendy Rulli.

     A memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M. Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where friends may visit with the family from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. Thursday.  Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
