Susie Lucinda (Wilson) Saunders, 87, of Sudlersville, MD passed away on March 15, 2017.
Susie had been a factory worker for the Chicken Factory in Felton, DE and for Campbell’s Soup Company in Chestertown, MD for many years. She was a member of Crossroads Christian Church in Dover, DE. Susie’s favorite things besides church were to play Chinese checkers (and win) and doing Bible word search puzzles.
Susie is survived by her six children: Melvin Wilson and his wife Carol of Barclay, MD, Lorraine Murray of Laurel, MD, Marian Gibbs of Marietta, GA, Alan Brown and his wife Phyllis of Dover, DE, George Wilson and his wife Dandalyn of Severn, MD and Sandra Emory of Millington, MD; one brother, Leon Wilson and his wife Dorothy of Dover; 15 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Blanche and Joseph Wilson, sisters Blanche Davis, Anna Jeffers and Lillian Winchester and by her brothers Leroy, Calvert, George, Norris and Perry.
A funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 20, 2017 at Crossroads Christian Church, 4867 N. DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901 where there will be a viewing from 11:00 to 1:00 on Monday. Burial services will be private. Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
