Sharon Lee Barr

Sharon Lee Barr of Marydel, MD passed away surrounded by her loving family January 8, 2017.  She was born December 24, 1947 in Easton, MD.

Sharon was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker who loved spending time with family, sewing, doing yard work, and helping her husband Allen in the garage or with whatever he needed.  She was passionate about helping others, she taught Sunday school for several years.

Mrs. Barr is survived by her husband of 51 years Allen; children, Sheila (Steve) DiRocco, Hollie (Charles) Barrr & Dawn Barr; grandchildren, Nicole (Greg) Kemp, Brian (Naomi) Parker, Richard Parker, Andrew DiRocco & Luke Barr; great grandchildren, Hayden Parker & Brayden Kemp; her sister, Sandra (Leslie) States, her brother Clyde (Diana) Ware Jr.; a God daughter, Courtney (Matt) Morean; and a host of family and special friends.

The family is especially grateful to Dr. Asish Tikotekar of Kent Pulmonary for his care and support.   Special appreciation is extended to Marcie Schmitt, Debbie Schultz and Christina Godfrey all of Shore Home Health for taking such great care of Sharon and her family.

Private cremation services have been planned.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Marydel Volunteer Fire Department.
