Sandy Caplinger, of Wyoming, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017, in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She was 67.
Sandy was born, November 21, 1949, in Dover, DE . She is a Graduate of Felton High School, Class of 1967. Sandy was the owner of the New Image Hair Salon, in Woodside for 40 years. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family, and watching Nascar races.
Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Francis Fletcher and a brother, Bruce Fletcher.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Charles C. Caplinger, Jr.; 2 daughters, Jamie K. Moore & her husband, Ryan, of Harrington; and Tammy Morris & her husband, John, of Camden-Wyoming; a son, Lloyd Jason Grier & his wife, Laura, of Camden-Wyoming; her mother, Betty Fletcher, of Felton; her brother, Rick Fletcher, of Harrington; a sister, Hope Reyes, of Felton; Grandchildren, Mason Moore, Melanie Grier, Hunter Grier and Garrett Grier; and 3 nieces, Christina, Amanda, and Ashley.
A Memorial Service will take place at 3 pm, Saturday, January 21, 2017, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc. 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave. Wyoming; where family and friends may gather 1 hour before. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
