Sandra Ann McDougall, 64, of Hartly, went home to be with the Lord on October 11, 2016. Sandy was born on July 1, 1952 in Wilmington, to the late Clarence and Cecelia Stanley.
At the age of 22, Sandy married her husband, Ralph and they were blessed with 42 years together, raising one son, and two beautiful grandsons.
Sandy was a wonderful, caring, and kind-hearted person. She found her greatest calling in life as an elementary school teacher. For over 30 years she taught K-3 at Kent Christian Academy in Dover. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her grandchildren dearly, and spent most of her days watching them, and also her “niece”, Nicole.
Sandy leaves behind her loving husband, Ralph Sr.; son, Ralph, Jr. and his wife Sarah; grandchildren, Wyatt and Garrett; siblings, Andrew Stanley (Susan), and John.
A Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 noon on Friday, October 14, 2016 at the Pentecostals of Dover, 4462 W. Denneys Road, Dover, DE 19904, where friends may call from 10-12 pm. Burial will follow services at Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her honor can be sent to the Pentecostals of Dover.
