Roy Stewart Boehmer

     On February 3, 2017 Roy S. Boehmer was reunited in heaven with his Mom and Dad and two brothers Bruce and Scott.

     Mr. Boehmer was currently employed for Capitol Hertrich in Dover as a porter.  He was an avid fisherman that enjoyed crabbing and digging for clams.  Roy was a self-taught mechanic and enjoyed working on his truck.  He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan.  What Roy enjoyed the most was spending time with his grandson Giovanni.

     Mr. Boehmer is survived by his son, Anthony S. Boehmer; two brothers, Craig A. Boehmer, Sr. of Magnolia and Glenn F. Boehmer and his wife Billie of Magnolia; his sister, Robin Boehmer Willey and her husband Fred of Dover; his grandson, Giovanni S. Boehmer; his sister in law Barbara A. Boehmer of Dover; three stepchildren: Stephanie VanVeen of Dover, Mark VanVeen of Texas and Autumn VanVeen of Alabama; his fiancé, Yvonne Robertson of Harrington; and her children, Dawn Robertson of Maryland and Lucy McCue of Harrington. He is survived by a niece Amanda Willey Perrone, his nephews Bryan Willey, Ryan Boehmer and Craig Boehmer, Jr. 

     A memorial service will be at 8:00 P.M. Thursday February 9, 2017 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where there will be a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday. Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 200 Continental Drive, Suite#101, Newark, DE 19713.  Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
