Ronnie Franklin Leager, 32 of Hartly, Delaware died Sunday, September 4th, 2016 at his residence. He was born October 3, 1983 in Dover Delaware. He was preceded in death by his father Ronnie Franklin Seamen Jr., paternal grandfather Ronald Franklin Seaman Sr., maternal grandfather Clifton Leroy Leager and step grandfather Henry Morris. He is survived by his parents Bruce and Cheryl McCrea (Leager) and brothers; Timothy, Shane, an d Kyle McCrea, and Eric Powell sisters; Hanna McCrea, Amanda Powell, and Dora Beasley. He also leave his maternal grandparent Rosemary Leager and paternal grandparent Sandy Morris. He is survived by his son Ronnie Franklin Leager Jr. and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He graduated from Polytech High School with a welding certificate in 2001. He worked for Delmarva appliances for more than five years and began to work for himself in a variety of jobs.
He served as a member of the Hartly Fire Company as a junior member. He attended New Life Delany Worship Center, Clayton, Delaware. Ronnie loved fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He collected diecast cars and trucks as a hobby. He enjoyed his pets including tropical fish. American Pickers, Pawn Stars, and Gas Monkey Garage were his favorite TV shows to watch. Facebook was his favorite past time. He also would give a helping hand to his friends and family whenever they were in need.
Funeral Services will be held 11am, Friday, September 9, 2016, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE; where family and friends may view 1 hour before. Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
