Ronald L. Seymore, Sr., 69, of Magnolia, DE passed away on November 15, 2016 at the home of his son.
Ronald L. Seymore, Sr., born on October 8, 1947, was the son of the late Rudolph and Willie B. Seymore. He was one of five children born to this union. He was preceded in death by brother Rudolph C. Seymore and sister Carolyn F. Forbes. He was also preceded in death by his beloved dog, Buddy.
Ron joined Good Hope A.M.E. Zion Church at a young age and continued to serve Christ throughout his life. He served in the United States Air Force for over 14 years and was a civil service employee for 23 years. He enjoyed crabbing, fishing, bowling, playing cards and playing pool. He also liked drag racing and he loved dogs. He had the type of personality and a smile that would light up a room.
Ron is survived by his two children, Ronald L. Seymore, Jr. and his wife Norma of Magnolia, DE and Trina B. Bowers of Baltimore, MD; five grandchildren Craig Scott, Leteaja Johnson, Ashley Bowers, Ronald L. Seymore, III, Alicia Bowers; 3 great grandchildren: Mckenzie Bundy, Vincent Bundy and Mariah Bundy; one sister, Donna Banks of Lorton, VA; one brother, Barry Seymore and his wife Antoinette of Chesapeake, VA; 3 aunts: Vernice Trafton of Long Island, NY, Margaret Walston of Virginia Beach, VA, Minnie J. Seymore of Moyock, NC; his former wife Faye K. Richardson and her husband Ronald of Dover, DE; close friend Ms. Anna Edwards; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He'll be missed by all.
A funeral service will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where there will be a viewing from 8:30-10:30 Wednesday.
