Bob was a retired, over the road truck driver.  He proudly participated in the Annual Truck Rodeo, where he won first place.  He loved to travel across the country, and on summer vacations would take his grandchildren with him.  His favorite place to travel was Dallas, Texas.

Bob served in the Navy on the USS Fulton.  He took great pride in the fact that he served his country.  He was a nuclear welder on a sub tender.

His favorite thing to do was to go fishing on his boat.  He went as often as he could on weekends.   Also he would frequent Wilsons Auction, where he earned the nickname “The Dollar Man.”  He was always looking for a bargain.   Sometimes he would bring home a full truckload and his wife would wonder where they were going to put everything.

Lastly, he is survived by his best friend, and trusty companion, “Bubba” his yellow lab.

Services will be private and held at a later date.
