Rita Sterling, 95, a resident of The Village at Woods Edge, Franklin, VA, passed away March 20, 2015.
Rita was the daughter of the late Arthur and Bertha McGowan of Fitchburg, Massachusetts. She was born on January 10, 1920 and was predeceased by her husband and Paul G. Sterling, a brother Everett McGowan and her grandson Greg Sterling.She is survived by her sons Richard (Linda) of Greenwood, SC, William of Palm Springs, CA, Kenneth (Glenda) of Franklin, VA and Caroline (Gerry) of The Villages, FL, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren any many friends at “The Village”.
Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2015 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE where friends may gather one hour earlier. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Dover, DE. Condolences may be sent by entering the guest book below.
