Pearl Marion Swann, of Westminster Village, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday July 10, 2016, after a brief illness. Pearl was born in the town of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, on March 29, 1921 to the late Nellie Williams. She was 95 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, William. They were blessed with 49 years together.
Pearl earned her Business Degree in Canada prior to coming to the United States. She was a wonderful mother, who stayed home to raise her children while supporting Bill’s career.
She was always very fashionable and welcomed the compliments she received. She liked going to the theater and to the beach, and enjoyed traveling; especially her winters in Ellenton Gardens, Florida. She loved being surrounded by people, and was happiest spending time with her dear friends and family.
Pearl is survived by her daughters, Theo and her husband Tim; and Karen and her husband Allen; grandchildren Jason (Mary), Jessica (Glenn), Leaf, Cameron, and Isabell; great grandchildren, Grace, Faith, Kylie, and Croix; sister in law, Marion; and her wonderful neighbors at Haslett Park.
The family wishes to thank the Staff at 3 East; Staff and OR Nurses at Kent General Hospital; and everyone at Westminster Village for their care, support, and compassion during this time.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, Delaware 19934. Friends may gather one-hour prior.
