Pauline O. Starkey passed away courageously September 14, 2016 at her residence in Felton, DE. Pauline was born in Dover, DE November 17, 1943 to Claude and Grace Outten. She worked several years at her families furniture store Outten Brothers Furniture.
After leaving Outten Brothers Furniture, she became owner of Lake Forest Mobile Homes. Family explained that Pauline had a zest for life and enjoyed collecting Longaberger Baskets, annually attending the Delaware State Fair and going to the Harrington Casino, travelling to Florida, going on cruises, attending tractor shows with her husband, eating crabs and spending time with family and friends.
Pauline is survived by her husband of 22 years, Ray Starkey; her children, Gregg Lewis and his fiancé Tina Sayers & Paul Ridenour; grandchild, Makenzie Rose Ridenour, her baby doll whom she adored. She is survived by her sisters, Shirley (Nick) Carullo & Claudette (David) Bowen & several nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. From her marriage to Ray she gained two daughters Donna (Dale) Bishop and Ann (Mark) Breeding, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Starkey is preceded in death by her second husband Lowell Ridenour and brother Alburn Chester Outten.
The funeral for Pauline will be at 2 pm, Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE. Friends may begin calling 2 hours prior to the service. Interment Lakeside Cemetery, Dover, DE.
