Norma Jean (Dodd) Johnson

HARTLY  Norma “Jean” Dodd Johnson passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Kent General Hospital. She was 81.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Ridgely, MD the daughter of the late Herman V. and Anna Pearl (Freeman) Dodd.

She was a secretary for the City of Dover and Kent County Government for several years. She was also a Life Member of the Cheswold Volunteer Fire Co., Ladies Aux.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by both parents and two brothers, Buddy and Ray Hastings.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, James A. Johnson; daughter Gaye Twilley (Paul) of Hartly; son Jamie Johnson (Kim) of King George, VA; grandchildren Tina Mitchell (Jimmy) of Camden; Kelly Lloyd (Billy) of Marydel; Zachary, Tyler, and Lauren Johnson all of King George VA; great grandchildren PJ and Dawson Mitchell, Christopher, Madison and Nathan Lloyd; brothers Dickie Dodd and Paul Hastings.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call after 12:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
