Mickey McDonough, of Frederica, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 59.
He was born, February 6, 1958, in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, to Gwen(Swank) Hebert & the late, George J. McDonough, Sr.
Mickey was a very civic minded person, and was a member of the Bowers Beach Fire Company, serving as a fire policeman there too. He volunteered at both the Food Pantry and Coat Closet in Milford, as well as the Milford Public Library. A devout Christian, Mickey was a member of the Reformation Lutheran Church in Milford.
Mickey is survived by his Significant Other, Patty Hilton-Robinson, of Frederica; a son, Kyle McDonough, of Whidbey Island, WA.; a daughter, Erin McDonough, of Philidelphia, PA.; his mother and step-father, Gwen(Swank) & Eugene”Pop” Hebert, of Frederica; his siblings, Kenny McDonough, of Philadelphia,PA; Danielle Berger, of Sewell, N.J. and Matthew McDonough, of Folly Beach, S.C. and a grandson, Logan McDonough, of Whidbey Island, WA.
Funeral Services are at 1:30 pm, Sunday, March 26, 2017, at the Bowers Beach Fire Company, 3285 Main Street; where family and friends may view 2 hours before. Burial will follow in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Bowers Beach Fire Company or to the Ladies Auxilliary.
