Maurice Mitchell Scott, of Felton, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017, in his home. He was 60.
Maurice was born June 14, 1957 to the Late Viola M. Scott, of Harrington. DE.
Maurice worked landscaping and doing odd jobs with the Minus Family. He also loved helping at his church, St.John’s A.U.M.P. Church , Woodside, DE. Maurice always has a smile to share, and love to give to others. He loved helping anyone who needed a hand; doing anything. No job was too big or too small. He was always ready to assist and get the job done. Maurice also loved spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, Maurice was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Shirley Stevens, Clara Mitchell, and Cora Johnson.
Maurice leaves to mourn his death, 2 sisters, Joyce Scott & husband, Leven; and Patricia Taylor & husband, Lester; a special friend, Lilla May Williams; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 12noon, Friday, December 1, 2017, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may view from 11am to 12 noon. Burial will follow in Williamsville Cemetery. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
