Mary L. Stanley beloved mother and child of God went home to be with the Lord, Friday, June 24, 2016, in her home with her daughter at her side.
Mrs. Stanley was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother. She is survived by her only child Brenda, sister Frances Myers of Ohio, and many nieces and nephews.
She was loved and remembered by many kids as the lunch lady for 20 years at W.B. Simpson and five years at Allen Frear and the favorite cashier at many supermarkets.
She attended Trinity Wesleyan Church in Dover and Pilgrim Chapel in Harrington.
Visitation for friends and family will be 6-8 pm Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
A celebration of life will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 1 at the Trinity Wesleyan Church, 1564 South State Street, Dover, DE.
Burial will follow in Greensboro Cemetery, Greensboro, Maryland.
