Marie Kemp, of Dover, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, August 13, 2017. She was 69.
Marie was born, July 8, 1948, in Bloomington, Indiana, to the late, Cecil Baker& Dorothy(Graves) McGee. She had worked as a supervisor with the United States Census Bureau for many years. She is a member of the Calvary Assembly of God, in Dover.
Marie is survived by her husband, Walter C. Kemp ; her sons, John Brian Nuss & wife, Lisa Prettyman, of Newark, DE and Troy Alan Nuss & wife, Denise, of Wilmington; her foster parents, Mr.& Mrs. Richard Pepper; her sisters, Joyce K. Bennett, & husband, Daniel , of Dover and Carol J. Tucker, of Bridgeville; a brother, Clarke E. Ney, of Norfolk, VA; her aunt & uncle, Clarence & Bertha Van Slyke, of Indiana and 5 granddaughters, Miranda Nuss, Kala Nuss, Demi Nuss, Mackenzie Prettyman , and Neila Nuss.
