Marian Aaron Fleischer

FLEISCHER, Marian A. of Dover, DE was taken up to be with the Lord April 11, 2016 after a long courageous battle with COPD.  Marian, the daughter of Vernon & Leona Aaron was born April 18, 1943 in Cambridge, MD.  Her family described her as a fun loving, business-oriented individual who faced her illness with strength and dignity.

In her lifetime, Marian worked at Goucher College in Baltimore, was a respected personnel recruiter and was most proud of the work she did with her late husband Bob operating Airland Industrial, a small business that provided aerial photography.

In her younger years Marian loved spending time with family and friends boating on the Choptank River.  In her later years she could be found going to the slots or out to dinner with friends and family.  Also, she and her husband Bob took many flights in their Cessna Airplane.  She loved watching tennis and Jeopardy on T.V. , and spending time with her sidekick, daughter Debbie.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Fleischer.  Marian is survived by her children Scott Waldron and Debbie Waldron Pratt, daughter in law Joanne, grandson Scott Jr.  and Rob her son in law as well as her sister  and brother in law Betty and Wilbert Iman. Marian remained very close to her former husband Larry Waldron.  She will be greatly missed by her dear friends Kim Blake, Josie Roock and Rita Knight.

Memorial Service will be 2 pm, Monday, April 18, 2016 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE.  Friends may gather one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the COPD Foundation.
