Margaret C. Sears of Dover passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 22, 2016. Margaret was born July 10, 1938, to B. Nolan Cooper and Catherine Cooper Melvin. She was 77.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Margaret is survived by her husband of 59 years, Larry D. Sears; one daughter, Sheri Paitsel; three granddaughters, Tracy Sears, Melanie Alexander and Kristy Trudel; two brothers, William L. Cooper and R. Glen Melvin; five sisters, Blanche Wilson, Dorothy Cook, Ethyl Akmentins, a special sister Harriett Paglusch which whom she shared a birthday, and Sandra Tucker; six great-grandchildren; Jerid Hallett, Jasmin Hallett Marte-Diaz, Patience Alexander, Isabelle Trudel, J. Brooks Swafford Jr. and Gaige Rigby; one great-great-granddaughter, Natalia Marte-Diaz; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services will be 11 a.m., Friday, June 24, 2016, at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Camden for family and close friends only, per Margaret’s request.
