Margaret Ann Needles

      Margaret Ann Needles, of Camden, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 26, 2017, in Kent General Hospital, Dover, surrounded by her family.  She was 62.

      Margaret was born, November 1, 1954, in Oak Hill, West Virginia, to the late, Thomas & Freda (Reece) Tompkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bunkie Tompkins and a sister, June Biddle.

      Margaret worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the State of Delaware, at the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill for 10 years. She was a devout Christian, and was a member of the Eastern Shore Bible Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing and baking cakes.

      Margaret is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert A. Needles, Sr.; three Children, Gloria M. Simpson & her husband, Joe, of Magnolia; Rebecca A. Hernandez and her husband, Jay, of Atlanta, Georgia; and Robert A. Needles, Jr., of Petersburg, DE, her siblings, Sheila Tharp, of Dover; Judy Lester, of Lincoln; Wayne Tompkins, of Camden; Joe Tompkins, of Sandtown; Paula Bollman, of Dover; and Paul Tompkins, of Felton; and three grandchildren, Rachel and Sarah Simpson, and Chase Luke Hernandez.

    Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, April 4, 2017, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may view two hours before.
