Lovie Jane Belfield

     Lovie Jane Belfield, of Lincoln, DE, departed this life on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11:57 pm, in Milford Memorial Hospital, after a short illness. She was 69.

    She leaves to cherish her mother, Fannie(Jacobs) Belfield, of  Federalsburg, Maryland; 2 sons, Matthew Belfield, of Seaford; John Belfield, of Ellendale; and  her beloved daughter, Arlene Belfield, who she loved to death, and who took care of her mother till God called her home; 4 sisters, Ola (John ) Waples, of Georgetown;  Josephine (Frank ) Brown, of Federalsburg, MD; Gloriann Belfield, of Federalsburg, MD;  and Michelle Belfield, of Salisbury, MD. One step-son, Ricky (Sandra) Waters, of Ellendale; 3 grandchildren, Sherwood (Loyta) Belfield, of Millsboro; Antonio Belfield, of Lincoln, DE; and Antwine Belfield, of Milford; 2 granddaughters-in-law, Loyato Perkins, of Milsboro and Net Young, of Milford ; 7 great-grandchildren, Deshawn Carrol, of Dover; Arvie Carroll, of Dover; Jazion Belfield, of Harrington; Faith Sckol, of Camden, DE; Amair Brown, of Harrington, and Sayondra Young, of Milford, DE.. Lovie Belfield has had five special people in her life she loves to death, Tony Young, of Dover; Darcus Young, of Milford; Keith Wicks, of Georgetown; Purnell Cheyas, of Dover; and Rev. Dr. Raymond Fisher, of Little Union Church of God, of Lincoln; where she was a faithful member.

    Lovie served as an usher, and on the Usher Board, at Little Union Church of God; where she also attended bible study, and Sunday morning services. Lovie enjoyed listening to gospel music; and loved to go to church.   Lovie was ready to meet the King. You will be truly missed by all. May you Rest in Peace Ms. Lovie Belfield.

     A Homegoing Service will take place at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 18, 2017, in the  Union Baptist Church , 8856 Green Top Road, Lincoln, DE ; where family and friends may view 2 hours before.  Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
