Louise Phillips, 89, of Harrington, passed away at home surrounded by family on October 17, 2016. Louise graduated from Dover High School, and married Frederick R. Morris. They had four daughters, Yvonne Reed of Harrington, Shirley Jean Willey of Rising Sun, Linda Iverson (Jeffrey) of Wyoming. She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick R. Morris in 1978, and her youngest daughter Sheila A. Bodine in 2015.
Louise was an avid quilter for many years, and some of her work was even purchased by individuals in states as far away as Florida. She enjoyed crocheting, making her own lace collars and even making the dullest tablecloth look beautiful for her home. Louise always loved color and never went anywhere without looking her best and having the prettiest pair of earrings on that she could find. Louise also loved to dance, and loved listening to good music when she had the opportunity but more than anything she loved showing her love for Christ and her church family at Calvary Church on route 10.
She is also survived by many, many grandchildren who call her “Granny” and many great grandchildren.
