I can't begin to express how much Ms. Gehling influenced me. She was much more than a teacher. My thoughts are with Josie and the rest of the family.

Please accept my deepest condolences on behalf of the loss of your loved one. During sad times like this, I take comfort in God’s promise to us found at John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment." This can be encouraging for us, because here we see that there will be a resurrection of those who’ve fallen asleep in death—which means we can see them again. We know we can trust this promise because God cannot lie. (Titus 1:2) I sincerely hope these scriptures comfort your family as they have mine, and if you'd like to read the Bible online, or learn more about God's promises for our loved ones asleep in death, please feel free to visit JW.org.
