Lillian Catherine Jackson, Age 89, of Milford, Delaware went home to be with her Lord and Savior September 9, 2017 at the Delaware Hospice Home. Lillian was born on November 23, 1927 in Johnston County, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Marvin & Florine Holt.
Lillian enjoyed time with family and friends. She spent her days as a homemaker, cooking, sewing, making things and Praising the Lord. She loved to sing and was often heard singing familiar church songs. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Jackson; her son, Gary Williams; her sister, Virginia Madison; and her brothers, Loomis Holt, Willie Holt, Frank “Blue” Holt & Charlie Holt.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Peggy J. Horton (James), Doris Gracey, Larry Williams (Francine), Linda L. Williams, & Patricia Williams, 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, a dear friend Nettie Harris; extended family and friends.
Funeral Service, Sunday, September 17, 2017, 11 am at True Grace Fellowship Church, 420 West Street, Milford, DE. Friends may call beginning at 10 am.
Interment Service, Monday, September 18, 2017 11 am at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE.
